Perinatal centre #1 of the City of Astana consists of an in-patient department of perinatal care of the III level for 150 patients and of a consultative and diagnostic centre. The establishment is equipped with modern medical equipment and has highly skilled medical personnel and the necessary conditions to provide qualitative and timely medical care for pregnant women, parturient women, gynecological patients and newborns, as well as for persons with reproductive function derangements. Main activities: • providing of curative and rehabilitative care for pregnant women, lying-in and parturient women, mainly with the most severe pathology; • provision of skilled nursing for infants with critically low body weight and surgical care to newborns with congenital malformations; • providing of prenatal and neonatal biochemical and ultrasound screening.
